Welcome to the National Induction Programme for Teachers (NIPT). We are a dedicated continuing professional development (CPD) support service of the Department of Education.
NIPT aims to support the induction of Primary and Post-Primary Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) into the teaching profession in line with the requirements of the Department of Education and the policies of the Teaching Council on induction and the continuum of teacher education including Droichead, The Integrated Professional Induction Framework for NQTs.
