Website maintenance will take place on www.teacherinduction.ie on Tuesday the 22nd of June. This will result in the website being unavailable at various times over the course of the day. NIPT apologises for any inconvenience caused.
NIPT would like to thank the NQTs who recently attended The NQT Voice events via Zoom. The professional conversations, insights and suggestions shared were invaluable and will inform future NIPT events.
Additional Droichead Cluster Meeting 2 (CM 2) events will be facilitated via Zoom for Primary NQTs from June 15th-17th inclusive and from June 1st-3rd inclusive for Post-Primary NQTs who did not attend in March and April.
Protocols apply and those NQTs wishing to attend are required to familiarise themselves with them prior to registering. Protocols plus the link to register for CM 2 can be accessed here. No further CM 2 events will be provided after the above dates.
As advised by the Teaching Council and agreed by the Department of Education, in the context of Covid-19, Council recognises the variety of teaching and learning environments in which Droichead can operate and that elements of Droichead can take place on-site or online.
A suite of online workshops continues to be available to NQTs via the NIPT online learning platform here- 4 Primary workshops; 6 Post-Primary workshops and 3 Cross-Sectoral workshops.
Assessment and Feedback to all Learners (NIPTWS06) for Post-Primary NQTs has been added to the suite and is now available.
Induction workshops are open to all NQTs to support their professional learning. While they are not a requirement of the Droichead process, many NQTs use them as an Additional Professional Learning Activity.
