The online facilitation of Cluster Meeting 1 commences week beginning 23rd January over a 2-week period in line with the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar. See here for full details including attendance protocols & registration link. Registration for Cluster Meetings continues via Donegal Education Support Centre.
All Primary & Post-Primary Cluster Meeting 2 events week commencing 6th February are now full. Over 70 CM2 events have been attended by 1,100+ NQTs since 10th January. Registration for additional CM2 events week commencing 27th February will open via Donegal Education Support Centre on the 20th February in line with the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar.
Cluster Meetings will be available via Zoom as per the Droichead Cluster Meeting Calendar here. This should be read in tandem with ‘Cluster Meetings: Important Information and Attendance Protocols’ here which includes a link to register. NQTs must apply for Droichead via www.teachingcouncil.ie and receive a confirmation email from the Teaching Council before registering for Cluster Meeting 1.
Please note that the last day to apply for Droichead in the 2022.2023 academic year will be Friday, March 10th 2023. Applications for the 2023.2024 academic year will open in September.

NIPT's suite of online workshops continues to be available to NQTs here: 6 Primary workshops; 7 Post-Primary workshops and 3 Cross-Sectoral workshops.
Induction workshops are open to all NQTs to support their professional learning. While they are not a requirement of the Droichead process, many NQTs use them as an Additional Professional Learning Activity.
Due to high demand, Droichead Refresher Online Events which were recently made available to PST members are now fully-booked. Please contact niptpostprimary@teacherinduction.ie to join a waiting list for additional events which will take place in Term 2 and Term 3. Details will be released in due course.
