Joan Keating is regional co-ordinator for Dublin City North, Meath , Louth and a number of schools in Cavan/Monaghan, Donegal/Sligo/Leitrim. A native of Kilbaha Co. Clare, Joan is a graduate of Mary Immaculate College of Education, Limerick, and St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. Having taught in a variety of schools in Kildare, Limerick and Dublin she is currently working with the National Induction Programme for Teachers as a part-time Induction Co-ordinator. In addition, Joan has worked for many years in the area of Professional Development with INTO, PCSP and the Education Centre Network, with a particular interest in English, Assessment and the Continuous Professional Development of teachers.
