Billy Redmond qualified as a Home Economics and Religion teacher in Sion Hill, Dublin in 1994 and worked in St Laurence College Loughlinstown and shortly after qualified as a Guidance Counsellor in UCD. He worked part time with a stress prevention programme with teachers and lectured part time with UCD education department. In 2006 he was seconded as a Regional Development officer with the National Behaviour Support Service. He is currently working as the National Co-ordinator For Teacher Induction Post-Primary.
