St. Aidan’s P.S., located on Convent Rd., Enniscorthy, Co.Wexford is currently the largest Deis Band 1 school in the country. As part of DEIS Band 1. St Aidan’s has 62 teaching staff , 5 SNAs and a part time Speech Therapist. It is a co-educational school with 863 children of 32 different nationalities currently on roll. There are 37 mainstream classes, 2 Reading Units, 2 Mild General Learning classes, an Aspergers and a Language Unit. The school is comprised of 2 main buildings and 12 prefabs.
