St. Patrick’s N.S. is a co-educational primary school in Slane, Co. Meath. There are 274 pupils enrolled. We have thirteen very dedicated teachers and two hard working Special Needs Assistants. As we are a developing school, we have been employing newly qualified teachers for the past few years. We were therefore delighted to be invited to take part in the National Induction Programme in 2008 and have been involved ever since. Mary Meade, our Deputy Principal has undertaken the Mentor training and she, along with the rest of the staff, work with the NQTs to assist them in the Induction process.
